Digital Editorial Intern
SAINT LOUIS, MISSOURI | EDITORIAL - LKS STYLING & CONSULTING | INTERNSHIP - BOTH REMOTE + IN-PERSON
Seeking an enthusiastic Digital Editorial Intern to contribute to our site weekly. You will have a strong command of the English language, be a stickler for grammar, and have a base understanding of fashion, culture, beauty and social psychology. Remote position, meet with company founder on a weekly basis. Weekly tasks vary, but applicants can expect to pitch and write articles, assist with research projects, transcribe interviews, and format articles to be published on web platform.
Responsibilities:
Writing fashion related news posts, and pitching essays and curated articles for potential publishing
Research and other editorial projects
Format articles on Squarespace backend to be published
Contribute to developing editorial calendar & scheduling
Attend phone conference team/internship meetings
Requirements:
Keen eye towards popular and emerging trends in fashion, culture, beauty and social psychology
Prior experience within editorial/writing/copywriting
Knowledge and experience with Squarespace websites
Must have access to a computer and email
Excellent work ethic
Ability to follow instructions, and critique feedback
Able to work independently when necessary
Availability 1-2 days per week; including meeting time with founder once per week (occasionally via video call)
College credit. This is not a paid internship. The internship accommodates the intern’s academic commitments and provides beneficial learning opportunities.

Graphic Design Intern
SAINT LOUIS, MISSOURI | GRAPHIC DESIGN - LKS STYLING & CONSULTING | INTERNSHIP - REMOTE ACCEPTED, TBD
Seeking a creative, multi-disciplinary Graphic Design Intern to contribute branded and editorial work for our sites, social media and newsletters. You will have skilled experience in Adobe Creative Suits, and have a base understanding of fashion, culture, beauty and social psychology. Remote position, meet with company founder on a weekly basis - open to a fully remote internship. Weekly tasks vary, but applicants can expect to work on fashion and lifestyle related design projects.
Responsibilities
Create branded and editorialized imagery, collages and shopping linked graphics
Work on design projects
Collaborate with editorial, creative and events teams on collaborative projects
Format MailChimp newsletters
Update formatting graphics and brand assets on Squarespace websites
Collaborate with our outside creative agency on event invitations& partnerships
Requirements
Must have access to a Mac laptop and email
Hands on knowledge and skilled experience designing with the Adobe Creative Suite
An eye for photography, curated imagery, and typography (proper kerning, leading, etc.)
Knowledge and experience with Squarespace websites & MailChimp email marketing
Excellent work ethic
Ability to follow instructions, and critique feedback
Able to work independently when necessary

Special Events & Partnerships Intern
SAINT LOUIS, MISSOURI | EVENTS & PARTNERSHIPS - LKS STYLING & CONSULTING | INTERNSHIP - BOTH REMOTE + IN-PERSON
Required Dates: Given that this is a special events position, you’ll be required to be available and on-site at venues in Saint Louis, on the following dates (daytime & evening) in 2019: 9/19, 9/20, 9/23, 11/7, 11/8, 11/11
Seeking a highly-driven Special Events & Partnerships Intern to assist in producing current and future events. You will be detail oriented with experience in production timelines, coordinating with partners and vendors, stellar communication skills, and have a base understanding of fashion, culture, beauty and social psychology. Remote position during planning timeline, meet with company founder on a weekly basis - required to be on site at event venues in Saint Louis on dates listed above.
Responsibilities
Assist with venue research including site-checks
Assist with the planning of events including featured designers, vendors, partners and sponsors
Assist with organizing all event materials including the shot list, run of show, contact list etc.
Manage event RSVP and guest correspondence
Assist with keeping the event kits organized and production materials updated
Attend events, helping with load-in, load-out and then check-in process and maintaining elevated guest experience
Assist with organizing event photos post-event & creating event recap on Squarespace website
Assist with expenses and budgets
Requirements
Must have access to a Mac laptop and email
Self-sufficient, resourceful and willing to jump in where needed
Events and planning experience on any scale
Knowledge and experience with Squarespace websites & Eventbrite
Excellent work ethic and communication skills, client and customer facing
Ability to follow instructions, and critique feedback
