7 Color-Saturated Looks that Make the Case for Dressing Monochromatic

Have you ever wanted to wear a single color all over, but hesitated with uncertainty? We all want to get dressed with assurance in our choices, and sometimes we hold back because we've never tried something before. It's a new feeling, new look, new sensation that you're stepping out in.

Is there a particular color you gravitate towards, one that incites an emotional response, but unsure of how to wear a whole lot of it? Saturate your outfit in this flattering color by adding layers of different textures and hues. Simplicity goes far — not much layering required for tonal dressing. Colorful or neutral, monochromatic dressing can be a fun exploration to take you outside of your comfort zone or deliver a daily dose of uniform dressing you've already locked in.

When I'm working in a client's closets, I have a rule that I'm almost always in full black - occasionally I wear a white shirt ;)  I want to blend into the background, and it works. To make a full-on black outfit in my life feel like me, I choose different materials and silhouettes to keep it interesting, with a splash of gold jewelry.
