Play Ball… Almost!

Level Up Your Gameday Style

MLB opening day is April 7, and in anticipation of our country's greatest pastime – and the fact that I live in a city that has a very loyal fanbase, Go Cards! – it’s time to dust off your gear.

Though many choose to wear jerseys or team apparel (look to Lusso Merch), here’s a fresh take on wearing your colors (in this case, red) to support the home team in an elevated manner. Gameday looks different for some, especially if you’re heading from the office to a work-related group viewing experience. After all, you'd want your look to stand up to a day of doubleheaders.

Menswear — Low Key Statement

STYLE TIP:

Make your statement with a colored jacket and minimalist layers. Pair with a well-fitting dark wash denim and a casual take on a lace-up.

Womenswear — Casual Upgrade

STYLE TIP:

A striped Breton top is a mainstay classic. This will never go out of style. It’s greatest gift, that it takes casual up a notch. Pop on with a cushiony sandal and a fun bucket hat as this season’s trendiest accessory. Wear a shirt like this tucked in if it’s a tad too long to elongate the torso.

Womenswear — Breezy Mixed Media

STYLE TIP:

Go breezy and mix unexpected materials like silky and cotton. Pull on your clear crossbody (stadium approved) bag and head to the box seats.
